Child Safety Standards

Um Blip has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). These standards describe what is prohibited, how we detect and respond to it, and how to reach us.

Prohibited content and behavior

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind, including real, edited, animated, or AI-generated imagery.
• Sexualized depictions of minors, including suggestive posing, captions, or comments.
• Grooming, sextortion, or any attempt to contact a minor for a sexual purpose, including through direct messages.
• Trafficking, or advertising or soliciting minors for abuse.
• Sharing links to, or instructions for obtaining, any of the above.

This applies to videos, captions, comments, profiles, usernames, and direct messages.

Age requirements

Um Blip is for people aged 13 and over. Accounts found to belong to children under 13 are removed.

Reporting

Anyone can report a video, comment, message, or account from inside the app using Report in the ⋮ menu, and can Block any user. Reports about child safety can also be sent to support@unscrollco.com with "Child safety" in the subject line. You do not need an account to report.

How we respond

• Child safety reports are reviewed as a priority ahead of all other reports.
• Confirmed CSAE content is removed and the account is permanently banned, along with any associated accounts we can identify.
• Apparent CSAM is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and, where required, to other national and regional authorities, and we preserve the relevant evidence for law enforcement in line with applicable law.
• We cooperate with valid requests from law enforcement.

Compliance

Um Blip complies with applicable child safety laws, including United States reporting obligations under 18 U.S.C. § 2258A, and with the Google Play Child Safety Standards policy. These standards are reviewed regularly and updated as laws and best practices change.
