Um Blip collects the information needed to operate a short-video social app. This includes account identifiers, username, optional profile details, videos and captions you choose to post, comments, votes, follows, blocks, reports, and product interaction analytics.
Firebase provides authentication, database, file storage, and analytics services. Google Mobile Ads may process device information, approximate location derived from an IP address, ad interactions, diagnostics, and advertising identifiers when legally permitted. Um Blip applies age-appropriate treatment for users aged 13–17 and requests non-personalized ads for them. For adults, Google Mobile Ads follows the choices made in its consent form, including a choice to allow or decline personalized ads.
Um Blip asks for advertising consent where required. When Ad privacy choices appears under Privacy & Safety, you can use it to review or change your choices.
Reports and blocks are used to protect the community. Videos are checked for explicit content after upload. Content that is flagged or receives multiple independent reports may be hidden while it is reviewed.
If you share a video outside the app, the link points to a public watch page for that video. Videos posted to Um Blip are public.
You can delete your account from Profile → Settings. This deletes the account and its Um Blip videos, subject to limited records that may need to be retained for security, fraud prevention, moderation, or legal compliance.
Um Blip is intended for people aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to use the service.
